Cardno International Development submits fourth annual Communication on Progress
Cardno International Development (Cardno ID) is committed to operating sustainably, responsibly, and in a manner that creates positive impact for our clients, communities and people.
For the past four years, our organization has supported the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Ten Principles – encompassing human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption – to achieve transformational change in developing contexts.
Since our previous Communication on Progress in February 2021, Cardno ID has made significant strides to promote our inclusive and values-based culture. We continue to advance the principles set forward in the UNGC and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a critical part of our strategy, culture, and day-to-day operations.
‘This past year has seen continued impact from the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on global health, health equity, and economic relief,’ said Cardno ID’s Interim CEO, Seth Yoskowitz. ‘Our company continues to work on some of the world’s most pressing issues, consistently promoting technical and implementation excellence across our programs.’
Our 2022 Communication on Progress shares examples of how we have utilized technology to inform and improve social protection schemes; facilitated the development of education systems and curricula to support student engagement and academic growth; promoted gender equality and social inclusion to improve political, economic and social opportunities for marginalised populations; and much, much more.
In our Communication on Progress for 2022, we detail our sustainability efforts; our commitment to upholding human rights and eradicating modern slavery; and our actions for inclusion, diversity, and equity.
